A public toilet in Swindon has closed permanently.
The Wharf Road public toilets in Wroughton shut to the public for good on March 28.
Wroughton Parish Council ran the facilities but announced the closure last month citing low usage, vandalism and increasing utility and running costs as the reason why.
A spokesperson said: "Wroughton Parish Council has taken the decision to hand the building back to Swindon Borough Council when the lease comes to an end this month.
"Alternative toilet facilities are available for all to use at the Ellendune Community Centre, Barrett Way during opening hours with the existing Wroughton Parish Council cleaning and consumables budget transferring there."
The parish council also said that Swindon Borough Council has already indicated that they will not re-open the toilets when the building reverts back to them as landlord.
Reacting to the news, one member of the public said: "We seem to be getting less and less with our council tax these days,"
Another branded the decision as "disgusting".
Anyone with questions about the closure of the Wharf Road amenities can contact Swindon Borough Council at 01793 445501 or via My Account.
Not including the town's parks, this move leaves just three public toilets open in Swindon, with locations at Wharf Green, Swindon Bus Station and Chapel Street in Gorse Hill.
