Delays are on the way for motorists looking to use two of the busiest roads around Swindon.
Motorists will have to contend with four road closures across the M4 and the A419 in the following two weeks.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, lists the following closures.
• A419, from 8pm April 11 to 6am April 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 15 to junction 14, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.
• M4, from 9pm April 11 to 5am April 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 15 to 16 lane closure for electrical works.
• A419, from 9pm April 16 to 6am April 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A419 northbound, entry slip road closure A420 junction.
• M4, from 7am April 22 to 4pm April 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 15 to 16 - lane closures for carriageway repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
