Police are investigating after a man was reportedly hit by a vehicle in Swindon.
At around 6.20pm on March 7 a vehicle allegedly collided with a pedestrian at the junction of Prospect Hill and Victoria Road in Old Town.
The pedestrian was a man in his 50s who sustained bruising and back pain as a result of the incident.
The driver initially stopped but police say they did not exchange any details before leaving.
Officers are now urging the driver, or any witnesses to the crash, to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for a driver involved in a collision in Old Town, Swindon, to get in touch.
“Any witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage, as well as the driver of the vehicle are urged to contact us immediately via 101.
“Please quote crime reference number 54240027373.
“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
