A Swindon business is marking a milestone anniversary this year.
The Swindon cable assembly company Fast Link Data Cables unveiled a relaunch for its 30th anniversary and thanked staff for their loyalty and dedication.
The firm based in Cheney Manor Industrial Estate has been a leading manufacturer of bespoke cables, looms, harnesses and box builds since 1993, serving customers across a range of industries including aviation, logistics, health, agricultural, wind turbines and precision engineering.
Company owners Claire Beazley, Richard Joynson, and financial director Derrick Leach wanted to thank their loyal staff and customers who have been integral to their success throughout this decades-long journey.
Claire said, “I see running a business as running a marathon. There's always going to be ups and downs but having a great team of people, our work family, behind you for many years helps to stay energised and focused on the road ahead.
“My dear friend and co-founder Allan, who sadly passed away in 2022, would be proud of the celebrations and what Fastlink and all those who sail with her have achieved.”
Staff enjoyed a day of celebrations, with longest-serving employees Richard Farley (30 years), Angela Bradshaw (26 years), Vaughn Zebedee (23 years), Steve Cole (20 years), and Pat Titcombe (28 years) receiving a cheque and plaque for their loyalty.
