The listing states: “The business has a great clientele and has repeat business from loyal customers throughout Swindon and Wiltshire.”
One five-star review stated: “By far and away the best fish and chips I have eaten in a long while.
“Fish was beautifully cooked, and the chips were a good size so they held their heat well.
“Portions of both were very generous so I will most definitely be back. Delivery was prompt and the driver was cheerful and friendly.”
One reason for its popularity may be the prices, with a small cod at £5.30 and chips for £3.
It also sells kebabs, burgers, pies as well as breakfast options such as bacon rolls for £3.50.
The restaurant is up for sale for £95,000, including a flat above the shop.
The reason for the sale or if the shop will face closure is not known, with the owner refusing to comment.
