The pitter-patter of tiny lamb feet is filling a local visitor farm.
Roves Farm in Swindon is currently in the midst of its second lot of lambing and after an incredibly busy weekend to mark the end of the Easter holidays they are celebrating an extraordinary series of arrivals.
Across Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14, 43 lambs were born within just 30 hours, keeping farmer Pippa Bolter incredibly busy.
During this period the farm's total number of quadruplets reached four, which the farm says is "truly remarkable."
A spokesperson said: "We have had a baby boom! Farmer Pippa has welcomed an amazing four sets of quads.
"Quads are quite unusual, with the odds of quadruplet lambs being born around 500-1, so to have four sets, with one more set expected, is truly remarkable!!
"This time last year we had two sets of quintuplet lambs, which are a 'one in a million' occurrence. Can we beat the odds again this year?
"With 80 ewes still to lamb watch this space for more amazing lambing news!!
Earlier this year, the tourist destination celebrated a record number of triplets.
