A Swindon man has had his computer taken away and destroyed after making indecent images of a child.
Dominic Fellows, of Willington Road in Redhouse, has been sentenced for making indecent photographs of a child.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 25.
The 36-year-old indicated pleas of guilty to two counts of making moving images of a child at an address in Swindon between May 7 and November 15, 2021.
One of these images was classed as Category B and the other four were considered to be Category A, which is the most serious level of classification of child abuse material.
He received a community order that requires him to carry out 34 sessions of the Horizon programme and up to 20 rehabilitation activity days, as well as carry out 120 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months and pay £85 in court costs plus £114 to fund victim services.
The defendant is also required to register with the police for five years and has had his computer equipment and devices forfeited and destroyed.
