A man who was charged following a stabbing in Swindon was due to enter a plea in court - but didn't show up.
The incident happened near Spring Gardens in central Swindon on Sunday, January 21, and left one victim in his 50s hospitalised.
Timothy Ryan, 25, of no fixed abode, was later charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The bladed article used in the stabbing is believed to be a locking knife, which Ryan has been accused of carrying on Plymouth Street in Swindon.
The 25-year-old is currently being held in custody at HM Bullingdon Prison and was expected to enter his plea virtually at Swindon Crown Court on April 30.
But the defendant but refused to cooperate with the hearing or leave his cell.
His trial is now scheduled to go ahead at Swindon Crown Court on July 11.
