Four vans were broken into at two Swindon golf clubs as thieves made off with an estimated haul worth thousands.
Police say power tools and a generator were among the goods stolen at Broome Manor between 11am and 1.30pm on Saturday, April 27.
And an alleged victim, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Adver his van was targeted at Wrag Barn the day before.
He said: “I had all my Milwaukee power tools, my golf clubs and wallet stolen from my van which was parked in the overflow car park at Wrag Barn on the Friday afternoon.
“The approximate value of everything taken and the damage to the locks on the van adds up to around £7,500.
“I think it’s appalling when you consider the financial cost to all of us affected, not just the cost of replacing our tools but also the loss of earnings.
“It should be highlighted so other tradespeople can be more vigilant."
Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or may have captured dashcam footage in the car park.
