These images from the Adver archive cover decades of work and play at Burmah Castrol's Swindon offices.
The site was originally built in 1972 as the showpiece headquarters for Burmah Oil and is set in nearly 11 acres of landscaped grounds off Pipers Way and close to the M4.
Our gallery shows a glimpse of the area before the complex was constructed and shows us around its reception area and offices.
Staff often took part in charity fundraisers which involved organising fun days for the community, putting on a fashion show, and tackling tough challenges, and welcoming special guests.
BP bought Burmah Castrol in 2000 for £3bn.
The firm was once based at Wakefield House, near Old Town, before moving to Lydiard Fields as Nationwide Building Society took over its old offices.
The Lydiard Fields offices closed in 2019.
