A Swindon man has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker twice and a spate of shoplifting offences.
David Mundy, of Farndale Close in Penhill, has been remanded in police custody after being charged with 11 shoplifting offences.
He has also been charged with two counts of assault on an emergency worker.
The 35-year-old is due to appear in Swindon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, May 2.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We have charged David Mundy, 35, of Farndale Close, Penhill with 11 offences of shoplifting and two assaults on an emergency worker.
“Mundy has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear in Swindon Magistrates' Court today.”
