New images show the remains of what was once Swindon's Honda manufacturing plant.
Demolition work started at the site on the old South Marston airfield on March 4, as the car factory that once employed more than 3,000 people before closing in July 2021 is making way for new premises helmed by developer Panattoni.
Plans for the site's new use were approved in January of this year after 22 months, 893 documents, and at least two planning committee meetings.
The scheme will see much more of the 370-acre site just to the northeast of the A419 being used than when it was under Honda’s ownership.
The £700m redevelopment of the area will see 11 new buildings put up which can be used as manufacturing sites or warehouses, with some being built right on the boundaries of the site.
Blue hoardings with Panattoni's name on them now cover the old entrance and exit gates to the complex.
When the facilities are fully finished, the area will be opened up to the public with cycle routes and green spaces.
More than 90 per cent of the material used in the fabric of the factory will be recycled.
