There are question marks over the future of one of Swindon's most popular Italian restaurants.
La Carbonara in Westcott Place has had a turbulent couple of years.
And since its owner Lino Goncalves announced in February that a personal health emergency was forcing it to close again, there has been no update on what the future holds for the restaurant.
Google now lists Carbonara Trattoria and Bar as 'permanently closed' and a notice on the website says: "Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we will be closed for the foreseeable future."
Lino's initial announcement in February said: "Unfortunately we have had to close once again due to a personal health emergency.
"We will be closed for the foreseeable future and will provide updates in the next couple of months. Any bookings that we have taken will be cancelled, this includes Valentine's Day.
"It breaks our hearts here at the Carbonara family to have to do this again so we say thank you all for understanding and we are very very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."
Last September co-owner Sue Matthews died just weeks after the restaurant had undergone a refit and reopened.
Following Sue's death, an announcement was made that Lino and his sons would be keeping the restaurant going.
Before then the venue unexpectedly closed before Christmas 2022 due to ill health and personal reasons, leaving customers who had made festive bookings to rearrange their plans.
It was then put up for sale, but a U-turn was announced in July 2023, with Lino and Sue confirming they were actually going to reopen the venue as Carbonara Trattoria & Bar.
Speaking further to the Adver at the time, Sue explained a little bit more about their decision to return months after they had called it a day.
"We closed La Carbonara because of health issues, but those are on the mend now, so we've been thinking about doing something for a while now and how we might return," she said.
"We made the announcement just to plant the seed that we're coming back. We don't want to give too much away about our plans yet and there are a lot of things we still need to work out but we've been overwhelmed by the response. It has brought tears to our eyes."
The venue reopened under its new name in August 2023.
The Adver has contacted the restaurant and Lino for comment.
