A suspicious incident in a Swindon supermarket has sparked a police appeal for information.
Officers shared CCTV photos on social media after receiving reports of an incident that occurred at the West Swindon Asda at around 1.50pm on Friday, March 8.
They would like to speak to the man pictured in the two images about what happened.
One shows a shopper wearing a blue hat, grey-green puffa jacket and black backpack talking on a mobile phone while in the magazine aisle. In the other image, he is browsing the shelves of a different aisle.
Police have not released any further details about what was considered to be “suspicious” about the two-month-old matter.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for your help to identify this man following a suspicious incident in a Swindon supermarket.
