Police are appealing for information following a distraction burglary in Swindon.
The incident happened on Thursday, May 9 in Overbrook, Eldene between approximately 5.15pm and 5.30pm, when a woman disturbed a man in her hallway.
He claimed to be working on a house nearby and said he needed to check the water pressure, asking her to go into the kitchen to run some water while he checked the pipes.
He then said he would return in a few hours, but after he left the woman realised money had been stolen from her purse.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured and are keen to speak to anyone with information in relation to the picture, as well as residents in the area who may have been visited by the man in similar circumstances.
