An event dedicated to crime and burglary prevention is set to be held in Swindon next week.
On Wednesday, May 22, Metro Bank staff members Megan Greenwood and Mitch Dunlop will host the event from 10am to midday.
It will feature police community support officer Abbie Sims from Wiltshire Police.
Ms Sims, known for her commitment to community safety in Swindon, will set up a stand in the store to provide information and advice on preventing crime and protecting homes from burglaries.
The event is in response to growing concerns around crime in the town.
Recent figures indicate a need for heightened awareness and preventive measures, especially in burglary-prone areas.
Swindon Metro Bank store manager, Jasmine Masih, said: "We are excited to host police community support officer Abbie Sims and support our community in safeguarding their homes and possessions.
"At Metro Bank, we’re committed to your safety – inside and out. Trust our safe deposit boxes to keep your valuables secure.
"We hope this event will drive awareness and encourage their use."
Metro Bank's Swindon store, located at 1-4 Regent St, will host the event which organisers say is a "fantastic opportunity" to "learn directly from a local expert".
