A suspected knifeman has appeared in court after an incident in Rodbourne that left two people injured.
Luvumvu Ndombele, 27, of Morrison Street, Swindon, appeared in Swindon Magistrates' Court this morning (May 20) accused of two counts of grievous bodily harm and one of possessing a knife in public.
The charges relate to an incident on Morrison Street, Rodbourne, and another on Jennings Street, when people received injuries thought not to be life-threatening.
Wiltshire Police described the incident on Saturday, May 18 around 5.05pm as a "disorder".
He is next due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on June 21 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Ndombele was not granted bail.
The police previously released an appeal for witnesses.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a disorder in Rodbourne, Swindon, on Saturday, May 18.
“We are appealing for any witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage on Morrison Street, Morris Street and Jennings Street to please get in touch.
“We are also appealing for the driver of a Barnes-branded white Ford van who may have witnessed the incident to please contact us.”
