Three men have been arrested after a police officer was allegedly assaulted during an incident at Swindon Bus Station.

Police responded to reports of an affray at the bus station, off Manchester Road, shortly after 8.30pm on Saturday, May 25.

During the incident, a Wiltshire Police officer was allegedly assaulted and sustained a minor injury.

A 45-year-old man was also taken to hospital as a precaution and has since been discharged.

Officers have arrested three men in connection to the disorder.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, making threats to life, and assaulting an emergency worker.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm.

All three suspects have been bailed pending further investigation.
