The White Hart roundabout in Swindon is set for eight weeks of roadworks.

Signage has been placed at the busy junction - serving both the A419 and A420 - warning motorists that delays might be caused when repair work starts for two months from June 10.

It is possible that during this time restrictions will also be put in place so that contractor TIS (NGA) can work, but it has not yet been confirmed what these restrictions might be, and when they might be in place.

During this upcoming period of work, the One Network Map suggests that the soffit steelwork of the two bridges will be repainted and that a crane will be in use.

Soffits are an exterior or interior architectural feature, generally the horizontal, aloft underside of any construction element.

This follows previous repair work that took place earlier this year which saw temporary bird netting installed at the ends of the bridges, known as abutments.

The roundabout had been the subject of a major £32m improvement scheme which started in the summer of 2020, and remained ongoing until June 2022.
