A Luckington School student has won a national competition.
Archie Colvin, a Year 4 pupil at the school, emerged victorious in the Living Streets 'design a badge' contest.
Living Streets is a National Organisation promoting walking, scooting or cycling to school.
Those who consistently do this for a month are rewarded with a badge.
This year's challenge was to create a fresh badge design. The winning badges - of which there were 11 - will be awarded to the participating schools across the UK.
Mrs Newman, Luckington School’s PE department lead, revealed the magnitude of Archie's achievement: more than 200,000 entries were submitted and Archie was one of only 11 winners.
His imaginative design, showcasing a child riding to school on top of a dragon, bagged him a certificate and a trophy during a recent school assembly.
Archie shared his novel perspective on the design, saying: "I think it would be fun to travel to school on a dragon and have my friends below!"
His winning emblem is set to be awarded nationwide in February 2025.
