A spa which opened in Old Town in May is having its grand opening this weekend. 

Thai House Spa in Hoopers Place will hold its big launch on Saturday (June 1).

The business venture from Thai national Keson, known as Sunny, provides traditional Thai, aromatherapy, hot oil, reflexology, foot, and traditional head massage, as well as back, neck and leg pain specialist treatments. 

There are rooms for one person and for couples.

Sunny moved from Thailand to England in 2005 to live with family.

She has years' worth of experience having learnt from family members and has been treating people across the two countries for 25 years.

She said: "I have had a spa in Banbury, Oxfordshire for three years, but now I want to bring Thailand and the real Thai therapy experience to Swindon. 

"I am looking forward to people from Swindon coming to try out and be interested in the treatments and Thai traditional massage."

Sunny will also be offering a traditional training course from the spa starting from August.
