A newly opened nightclub in Swindon town centre offering throwback nostalgia has been rebranded with a new look.

The 3 House, named because of its location on 3 Victoria Road, is the brainchild of Lucy Potter, from Stratton.

According to Lucy, the new nightclub and bar is not aimed at youngsters (although anyone is welcome) and is instead for people who fondly remember the 80s and 90s.

But after several months of refurbishment and redecoration to get the establishment up and running, the nightclub has revealed one last big change.

"We are thrilled to unveil our fresh new look at The 3 House Swindon," said the club.

"Our updated logo embodies a sleek, modern design that we believe will resonate with our community.

"We hope everyone can appreciate the new aesthetic as much as we do."

As Swindon's only 80s and 90s-themed nightclub, The 3 House opened with a promise to be a 'safe space' for people who feel too old for clubbing.

"I was talking to my friend and we all wanted to go out and have a good night but also we didn't want to feel old," explained Lucy.

“I’m 37 and I still like going out for the evening, but clubs cater for a younger crowd, and I don’t know the music and we’re looking to something a bit more civilised."

“There’s lots of people who’ve grown up, but they’re not ready for their pipe and slippers, they want to go out and have a good time; have a drink, listen and dance to some good music," she added.

"So I wanted to produce a venue where people can come and enjoy themselves and have a good night with whoever they are with as well as their mum friends and dad friends."

The site underwent a complete refurbishment in November 2023, with the floors, walls and toilets all being completely ripped out to start afresh.

The makeover cost thousands of pounds but has been a huge success, with the club now bustling with karaoke, open mic nights, DJs and live music.

Now, the nightclub hopes that the new 90s-inspired sleek branding can draw in even more customers ready to dance the night away.
