A financial planning company has been shortlisted for a regional award recognising its impressive growth during its first three years.

Dave Southby, from Wroughton, established Dave Southby Financial Planning in 2021 and the company has now been nominated for the Most Promising New Business Award at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

He said: "We are so proud of being shortlisted. We have had a fantastic year of growth, and it is incredible to be recognised for all the hard work we have put into expanding the business and our client proposition."

The awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate talent throughout Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Swindon.

The financial planning company began following Mr Southby's career switch during the pandemic.

The business grew quickly with a turnover of more than £80,000 in its first year
