Several Swindon eateries have received top recognition in their latest food hygiene inspections. 

First on the list was Three Trees Farm at The Ridgeway in Chiseldon, visited by Swindon Borough Council inspectors on Thursday, May 23.

The café was awarded a five out of five rating, scoring ‘very good’ for both hygienic food handling and management of food safety and ‘good’ for cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.

On Friday, May 24, Sammy’s Kebab & Burger House takeaway in Pinehurst was awarded them the highest accolade.

They achieved a ‘very good’ rating for hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, as well as ‘good’ on management of food safety.

Meanwhile, the Drink Valley restaurant in central Swindon was awarded a five-food hygiene rating on Saturday, May 25 -  ranking ‘good’ on hygienic food handling and management of food safety and 'very good' on cleanliness and condition of facilities and building. 

The Glue Pot pub near the railway station was also rated on Saturday, May 25, achieving a five out of five score overall.

The establishment scored ‘good’ on hygienic food handling and ‘very good’ for cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety.
