A new activity combining old-fashioned games with a modern twist has made its way to Swindon.
Adventure Point, formerly known as Laser Quest, has been entertaining visitors at its Shaw Ridge Leisure Park location for years with its laser tag arena.
In July 2023, the entertainment venue expanded its Laser Quest to include a live escape room experience and crazy golf course – but now it’s back with a new way to keep the kids (and adults) entertained.
Interactive Darts opened at the Shaw Ridge Leisure Park on May 16 and unlike conventional darts, the smart board automatically calculates each player's score which is attached to their name, similar to a bowling alley.
Priced at £10 per person, each one-hour session includes classic games and mini-games with as many darts as you’re able to throw, along with a drink of beer, prosecco, fizzy pop or slush that is included in the price.
Despite having only been open for two weeks, the new game has already proved a hit among families on the hunt for things to do in the half-term.
“Forget chalkboards and complicated maths. Our Interactive Darts system delivers instant automated scoring and a variety of classic and mini-games," said Company Director Steve Goddard.
“At Adventure Point we offer a wide range of attractions to suit everyone’s preferences and we specialise in providing thrilling and unforgettable adventures for all ages.
“If you book Electro Darts today you will receive a complimentary drink on arrival.”
