A man has been arrested and multiple bank cards have been seized after a suspect was spotted “acting suspiciously” in Swindon.
Police were called to the Kingshill area at around 10.45pm on Wednesday, June 5, after a man was allegedly seen acting suspiciously around parked cars.
By the time officers arrived, this suspect had left the area but a man in his 40s was subsequently identified through CCTV.
He has since been arrested and remains in custody at the time of writing.
Officers seized multiple bank cards, in different names, in connection to the incident.
Police are continuing to investigate and have urged any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference in the Kingshill area of Swindon.
“A man in his 40s was identified through CCTV, arrested, and remains in custody.
“If you have information that can help with our enquiries please contact us on 101 quoting log number 345 of Wednesday, June 5.”
