A popular Old Town restaurant and a longstanding Rodbourne pub are among the latest businesses to receive new food hygiene ratings.
Swindon Borough Council has awarded updated scores to five establishments around the town, according to the Food Standards Agency’s website.
Los Gatos on Devizes Road received the full five out of five after being inspected on June 5 - getting Good summaries in food hygiene handling, cleanliness and condition of the facilities, and management of food safety.
Frank's Kitchen on Rodbourne Road also got the highest possible rating following a visit on May 21, with good food hygiene handling and management of food safety along with very good cleanliness and condition of the facilities.
The Dolphin on Rodbourne Road received a Good overall rating of four out of five, with very good food hygiene handling, good cleanliness and condition of the facilities, and generally satisfactory management of food safety.
In terms of takeaways, Curry Cottage on Rodbourne Road got top marks with Good ratings in all three categories while County Fayre on York Road received a Satisfactory rating of three out of five after all three of its categories were considered to be generally satisfactory.
