Imagine walking down the steps from your house to the beach before relaxing in the spa and sauna with Kate Moss treatments.
This might sound like a tropical holiday, but all this is possible at a four-bed house sat beside a lake 30 minutes north of Swindon.
Sunset Lodge is part of The Lakes by Yoo development beside Warren’s Cross Lake near Fairford and is being sold by Mountgrange Heritage for £2.95 million.
Mountgrange describes it as “an extraordinary modern lakeside home in a wooded private estate with beautiful views and wonderful outside space."
It says the detached three-storey wood-clad house is contemporary in design, with plenty of glass to look out at the water below.
The second-floor bedroom spans the entire width of the house with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides giving wrap-around views of the lake and surrounding woodland.
Also in this large room is a set of gym equipment looking out at the water.
Mountgrange calls this “the most extraordinary bedroom, while the floor below offers “a wonderful master suite, two further double bedrooms and a family bathroom.”
Throughout the first floor are seating areas by the windows perfect for watching the sun come up over the trees while sipping a coffee.
There is a balcony on the top floor complete with sun loungers, while below is a more social decking area that is reached by sliding doors from the kitchen.
This is not just a place for sunny days. The agent explains: “The expansive open plan reception space with views onto the lake benefits from an open wood fire and offers a cosy snug.”
The house is touched all around by nature, with tree branches spilling onto the balcony and decking giving natural shade and privacy.
Steps lead down to a beach area where it is suggested that boats could be launched or you could get straight in for an open water dip.
You would have access to the Lake by Yoo spa offered in collaboration with Kate Moss’s COSMOSS brand.
The Spa by Yoo says: “We're delighted to partner with supermodel and COSMOSS founder Kate Moss offering a host of special retreats with signature rituals inspired by the brand’s ethos of Dusk & Dawn.”
The spa is available for residents and overnight guests only, meaning you would be buying access to an exclusive retreat by buying this house.
But with an annual service charge of £12,000 this exclusivity does come at a cost.
