A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon after an incident at a secondary school in Swindon.
Dorcan Academy was put into lockdown today (Wednesday, June 19) as a precaution and there were no reports of any injuries.
Wiltshire Police have said they do not believe there to be any further risk.
Dorcan Academy posted on Facebook: "Message for parents and carers: the Academy has had to go into lockdown for a short period of time this afternoon due to the behaviour of a person on site that caused concern.
"The police were called and the person was removed and the lockdown was then lifted. No harm was caused to anyone on site due to the swift action of staff to keep students safe."
