Two people have been arrested following an incident at Stonehenge.
On Wednesday, June 19, at around midday, orange paint was sprayed on the stones.

Police attended the scene and since arrested two people on suspicion of damaging the ancient monument.
Protest group Just Stop Oil have taken responsibility for the incident which has occurred just one day before thousands are expected to visit the site for the summer solstice.
An English Heritage spokesperson said: “Orange powdered paint has been thrown at a number of the stones at Stonehenge. Obviously, this is extremely upsetting and our curators are investigating the extent of the damage. Stonehenge remains open to the public.”
