Dario G star Paul Spencer has died following a battle with cancer.
The DJ and producer, who was known for songs including Carnaval De Paris, Sunchyme and Ring Of Fire, was 53.
The musician revealed in an online post last year that he had stage four rectal cancer and a shadow on his liver.
A post to his social media page on Monday said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul Spencer earlier today.
“He was positive until the end but this was one battle he could not fight anymore.
“He leaves behind a wonderful musical legacy and many happy memories for many people. He will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him.”
In a video from January Spencer revealed his cancer had grown in his liver and had also spread to his lungs.
He was also set to take part in the Chris Moyles' 90s Hangover show at the County Ground in Swindon during the May bank holiday weekend.
Nineties star Dario G will not be bringing his iconic song from World Cup '98 to the County Ground this weekend, as he is too ill.

The musician had to pull out because his health had worsened, but he did record a video for local fans to apologise for missing the party.
He said: "Unfortunately, I am not able to make it to Swindon this year
"I am currently in hospital in Christies Hospital in Manchester, I was diagnosed with cancer last June, so I was hoping to make it, desperate to make it, would've been my first gig of the year, but infections and all sorts of horrible things have afflicted me so unfortunately I won't be able to make it.
"But hopefully, I'll be able to come back soon to do another Chris Moyles Hangover - this is one hangover I'll tell you - but yeah, you have a great day, great weekend, party .... well, party well, party hard, dance hard, I'd love to be entertaining you but I've missed out this year.
"Have a great weekend, have a great event, enjoy each other, hug each other, dance the night away and please, please, please, look after each other, this is Dario G, good luck Chris Moyles, good luck the gang, and I'll see you soon."
