Closures will be in force on Swindon's two busiest roads over the next fortnight.
The A419 in Swindon and M4 between exits for the town will have closures starting from Monday (June 24).
This is according to National Highways, which manages both of the roads.
The A419 closures will last from Monday to Friday (June 28), starting with the northbound bring closed between the Commonhead and A420 junctions.
Later, southbound will be closed between the Commonhead and M4 junctions. Closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am.
The A419 roadworks are described as being to “sweep the carriageway”.
The next week, one lane of the M4 westbound will be closed between junctions 15 and 16 from July 3, 11pm to July 4, 6am. The works are for drainage.

Monday, June 24, 8pm - Tuesday, June 25, 6am: Northbound closed from Commonhead Junction to A420 Junction.
Tuesday, June 25, 8pm - Wednesday, June 26, 6am: Northbound closed from Commonhead Junction to A420 Junction.
Wednesday, June 26, 8pm - Thursday, June 27, 6am: Southbound closed from Commonhead Junction to M4 Junction 15. Northbound closed from M5 Junction 15 to Commonhead Junction.
Thursday, June 27, 8pm - Friday, June 28, 6am: Southbound closed from Commonhead Junction to M4 Junction 15. Northbound closed from M5 Junction 15 to Commonhead Junction.
M4 closure from Wednesday, July 3 to Thursday, July 4
Wednesday, July 3, 11pm - Thursday, July 4, 6am: One westbound lane closed between junctions 15 and 16.
