A long-running festival will be held in Swindon once again this weekend - but its organisers are in urgent need of help.
The Stratton Festival has been a key part of the summer events calendar for many years and will be hosted inside Grange Leisure Centre and outside around its adjoining field on Saturday, June 29, from 12pm to 4pm.
The array of activities and attractions on offer includes more than 20 craft stalls, Henna tattoos, a Drove Vets dog show, the grounds team's vehicles and machinery on display, bubble tricks, an ice cream van, inflatable play areas, pig racing, live music throughout the day, and a variety of food and drink.
There is one slight setback - the band that was due to kick off the festivities from 12pm to 12.50pm has pulled out, leaving a gap in the festival's lineup.
Stratton St Margaret Parish Council is hoping to find a local band or musician to step in and save the day.
Interested and available acts should email info@strattonstmargaret.gov.uk to let the parish council know.
Visitors should bear in mind that there is limited parking available at the centre.
