The following cases were heard at Swindon Magistrates Court in June.
SWINDON: Matthew Morris, of Rodney Road in Bristol, has been sentenced for driving offences.
The 48-year-old admitted to driving a Land Rover Defender along the B4019 in Blunsdon on June 12, 2024, without having insurance, while banned from driving, and after consuming so much alcohol that he had 27 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when breathalysed.
He received a 12-week prison sentence that has been suspended for 24 months along with a community order that requires him to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work in the next year plus up to 20 rehabilitation activity days.
Morris has been banned from driving for four years and must pay £85 in court costs.
SWINDON: Sofia Locke-Sanchez, of Twickenham Close, has been sentenced for possession of drugs and an XL Bully.
The 20-year-old indicated a plea of guilty to having a fighting dog called Porsche and an amount of cannabis in her possession in Swindon on March 7, 2024.
The Class B drug has been forfeited and destroyed. Her dog must be destroyed within the next two months unless - before that time - an exemption certificate is obtained from the Dogs Index.
The defendant has been conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £2,472 in court costs.
TOWN CENTRE: Dominik Pietka, of Maxwell Street, has been sentenced for three offences.
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a black Audi on Maxwell Street without valid insurance or a licence on June 17, 2024, and trespassing inside Cotswold Vehicle Recovery with the intent to steal a Surron electric motorcycle on June 4, 2024.
He has been banned from driving for six months, and must pay £154 to fund victim services as well as carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and up to 26 rehabilitation activity days within the next 12 months.
The defendant also received a 16-week prison sentence that has been suspended for 12 months.
STRATTON: Harpreet Singh, of Beechcroft Road, has been sentenced for driving offences.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a stolen BMW 840I along Fleming Way on June 20, 2024, while disqualified, without insurance, and after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath - 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - exceeded the prescribed limit.
He has been jailed for 18 weeks because the offences were committed during the operational period of a suspended sentence.
He has also been banned from driving for four years, one month, and 11 days, and ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
TOWN CENTRE: Fernando Galvao, of North Street, has been sentenced for driving offences.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle along Jenning Street without insurance on April 29, 2024, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.
He has been banned from driving for 12 months, fined £400, and ordered to pay £85 in court costs plus £160 to fund victim services.
DEVIZES: Thomas Hogg, of Gales Ground in Marlborough, has been sentenced for a driving offence.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit along London Road in Devizes on June 16, 2023, when he could not have proper control of the vehicle.
He received three penalty points on his driving licence along with a £72 fine and must also pay £40 in court costs plus £28 to fund victim services.
