A popular open gardens event is back in Swindon this weekend, where there will be a range of garden designs, homemade cakes and plant sales.
Old Town Open Gardens will feature 11 gardens on Sunday, July 7, while raising money for Twigs, Shine Post Natal Support and Old Town Community Gardeners.
Old Town and East Wichel councillor Linda Kasmaty said: "The gardens give a fascinating peek behind the scenes at 11 gardens, all very different and somehow a reflection of the owners enthusiasms and personality.
"This is an event enjoyed by all. Many of the gardens are within easy walking distance of each other and the Town Gardens.
"It's a great afternoon out for all the family with afternoon teas, plant sales and lots of ideas for you. It's a great opportunity to get some of your gardening questions answered by hosts who are all passionate gardeners.
'We've been running open gardens for 10 years and each year new gardens take part and former participants try and think up new ideas for their gardens, so it's always improving.
"It benefits the local community because it's a great opportunity to get out on a Sunday afternoon and meet other people."
Tickets are £5 and children go free.
