A market which says it is “not a typical fair” is coming to Swindon this month.
As the name suggests, Craft + Flea says it combines elements of both a makers' market and a bric-a-brac with hand-picked stalls.
The event will be in STEAM in Swindon on July 20 promising local traders selling a wide range of “high quality, on-trend products”.
The organiser says: “Craft + Flea is a spin on the makers market, bringing together talented, independent makers, designers, producers and collectors, each handpicked for their quality, on-trend products.
“We don't define ourselves as a craft market or a flea market but a great mixture of local talent and finds.”
The traders have not been confirmed yet for the Swindon event, but previous sellers include potters, jewellers, printmakers and bakers.
Food has abounded with cakes, doughnuts and speciality teas. Food is not guaranteed but the Swindon traders will be confirmed on their Facebook prior to the event.
The markets tour around UK towns and cities, with other events happening in London, Leeds and Birmingham to name a few, but Craft + Flea says “no two events are the same”.
A ticket is not required, but one can be bought for £2.50 to give priority entry and to be entered into a competition for a £20 event voucher.
