The owner of a roofing company has admitted to fraud and breaking trading regulations.
Kerry David Sharland, 52, has already applied for his roofing company KS Building and Renovations Limited to be struck off and dissolved with Companies House.
Sharland pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud by false representation as himself and one count of breaking trading regulations on behalf of the company.
He appeared in Swindon Crown Court on June 8, with the offences taking place between April 27, 2021 and March 30, 2023.
The court records record Sharland as “making a false representation intending to make a gain” to four individuals.
The business, based at Fire Fly Avenue and previously called KS Roofing & Building Limited, has accounts overdue since February 2, 2023.
He was represented by Charlotte Oliver, with prosecutor Mr Ethu Crorie acting on behalf of Swindon Borough Council.
The sentencing was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be compiled. Sharland will appear at Swindon Crown Court on August 29.
