A Swindon nursery's staff have been named Pre-School Team of the Year.
Windmill Hill Day Nursery stole the spotlight at a special awards ceremony at Kelmarsh Estate in Northampton.
The team was thrilled to be recognised for their exceptional early years practice in supporting children’s individual needs at this Ofsted-rated ‘outstanding’ nursery on Whitehill Way.
The seven-strong team consisted of Stacey Acott, Christine Carvill, Eliza Leadbeater, Imogen Webb, Claire Webb, Imogen Batty, and Gemma Palmer.
Famed for their dedicated passion and strong relationships with nursery families, they received commendation for their embedded knowledge and effective training leading to the highest child outcomes.
Stacey Acott, Windmill Hill Day Nursery team leader, said: "Wow what a feeling!
"What an achievement! I couldn’t be prouder of my team.
"I’m so grateful for all the quality and training given to us to support us to be the best for our children.
"It’s lovely to see that the dedication and hard work from the staff has paid off."
Trophies were awarded by Emma Rooney, CEO and Mike Thompson, chairman of the award-winning, employee-owned Childbase Partnership, at the event attended by more than 750 people applauding excellence in Early Years education. Popstar Wes Nelson performed.
