A garden centre is inviting children to bring their own plants to a 'show and tell' event this summer.
Dobbies will host a free Little Seedlings workshop at its Swindon store on August 4 for children aged four to 10.
It will teach children about about plants, wildlife, and the environment, with staff demonstrating and explaining the stages of plant growth.
Children are invited to bring along a thriving plant they have been nourishing at home to display in front of their peers.
Hannah McAtamney, who delivers Little Seedlings Club workshops said: "Our Little Seedling Club workshops at Dobbies’ Swindon store are really popular with families in the area.
"We can’t wait to take kids on a journey of discovery by exploring the lifecycle of plants, and the benefits and importance of gardening and growing.
"We’re looking forward to seeing some of the plants they are growing at home, and we know they will be excited to show them off too."
The session will also cover the importance of plants, with staff sharing tips on how to grow strong and healthy plants, and children will discover the different parts of a plant and their roles.
