The following cases were heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court in July.
WROUGHTON: Darren Coxhead, of Beechcroft Road, has been sentenced for a driving offence.
The 39-year-old used a handheld mobile phone while driving along Swindon Road in Wroughton on August 1, 2023.
He received six penalty points on his driving licence and must pay a fine of £117 as well as court costs of £90 plus £47 to fund victim services.
UPPER STRATTON: Bradley Power, of Old Dairy Close, has been sentenced for speeding.
The 28-year-old drove a BMW X2 along Great Western Way in Swindon faster than the speed limit on September 30, 2023, when the maximum speed had been lowered to 30mph.
He has been banned from driving for six months, fined £466, and ordered to pay £90 in court costs plus £186 to fund victim services.
OLD TOWN: Irfan Khan, of Chain Court, has been sentenced for speeding.
The 42-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan Qashqai along Kingshill Road at more than 30mph on September 26, 2023.
He received three penalty points on his driving licence and must pay a £151 fine as well as £90 in court costs and £60 to fund victim services.
MOTORWAY: Ciprian Rusu, of Chester Place in Bridgewater, Somerset, has been sentenced for speeding.
The 32-year-old drove a BMW 520D along the M4 near Swindon at more than 70mph on September 4, 2023.
He has been banned from driving for 75 days, fined £1,302, and ordered to also pay £90 in court costs plus £521 to fund victim services.
MOTORWAY: Ionut Lisenche, of King Georges Avenue in Southampton, has been sentenced for speeding.
The 38-year-old drove a Ford Transit Connect along the M4 near Swindon at more than 70mph on September 5, 2023.
He has been banned from driving for six months and must pay a fine of £733 as well as £90 in court costs plus £293 to fund victim services.
MOTORWAY: Aniket Jogani, of Rayners Lane in Harrow, has been sentenced for speeding.
The 24-year-old drove a BM2 520D along the M4 near Christian Malford at more than 70mph on September 3, 2023.
He has been banned from driving for 75 days, fined for £507, and ordered to pay £90 in court costs plus £203 to fund victim services.
MOTORWAY: Luke Oliver, of Fairwater Grove East in Cardiff, has been sentenced for speeding.
The 31-year-old drove an Audi A1 along the M4 near Swindon at more than 70mph on October 7, 2023.
He received six penalty points on his driving licence along with a fine of £1,500 and must also pay £90 in court costs plus £600 to fund victim services.
MALMESBURY: James Lockley, of Wellington Place in Hullavington, has been sentenced for a driving offence.
The 38-year-old drove a Ford Transit along the A429 without having valid insurance on September 4, 2023.
He has been banned from driving for three months, fined £600, and ordered to pay £90 in court costs as well as £240 to fund victim services.
TROWBRIDGE: Adam Avery, of Wyke Road in Trowbridge, has been sentenced for a driving offence.
The 31-year-old drove a Mercedes Citan along Wicker Hill on September 12, 2023, when there was not a valid insurance policy in place.
He received six penalty points on his driving licence and must pay a fine of £1,169 along with £90 in court costs plus £468 to fund victim services.
