The Dauntsey Festival of Transport and Country Show is set to return this weekend.

The annual non-profit event takes place at Good Mondays Farm, Chippenham, on July 13 and 14.

The event supports charities such as the Plum Layton Charitable Trust, which funds pancreatic cancer research at Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial College, and Who Would Fill Your Boots? which works to address attitudes towards risk and mental health in young farmers.

Ali Potter presented the first donation from this year's event to James from the Plum Layton Charitable Trust on Tuesday this week.

Committee member, Liz Graney, said: "The show offers something for everyone from the vintage vehicles to the fun dog show, and we have live music all weekend as well.

"We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to our showground with the new bigger-than-before festival and country show."

Apart from the charitable element, the event is a family-friendly extravaganza.

It features live music, a range of displays in an arena, a fun dog show, a craft tent, a trade area, lawn mower racing, and more.

Steam engines, tractors, vintage vehicles, cars, and motorbikes will also be at the event for visitors to peruse.

The committee thanked all the generous sponsors who donated time, resources, and support to assist in running this sizable event.

Tickets can be bought in advance at www.dauntseyfot.co.uk or on the day at the gate.
