A social club in Swindon has invited local vendors to serve some of their best-selling dishes at a summer food fair.
Bourton Club will host a special evening of food, live music and cocktails on Saturday, July 20 from 5pm to 8pm.
There will also be a raffle with foodie prizes like an afternoon tea hamper and vouchers for Rick Stein’s.
Emily James, event organiser, said: “The club will be providing lovely cocktails and a few food trucks coming, like Timers Pizza, Nicks Ice Cream, Bunkie Bakes and Little Grazey. There’s a nice bar to sit and eat and hopefully it’ll be a nice day for people to sit in the garden and enjoy the weather.
"We usually have a different food truck each week, but this is the main summer event and the next one won’t be until Christmas.
“I think the club want people to come and support them, but they like people coming to support other small businesses and people trying to start a business up.
“As the weather has been pretty rubbish people haven’t had a chance to go out and have a few drinks, so this will be a good chance for it and hopefully mark the start of summer.”
