Some Swindon shops and restaurants will close early on Sunday evenings so that staff can watch the final of the 2024 Euros.
Before England's showdown against Spain kicks off at 8pm on July 14, the managers of a few national chains and local businesses will allow their employees to clock off and head home in time to watch every minute of it.
A spokesperson for Fabio's Italian restaurant in Old Town said: "This Sunday, Fabio’s will be closed.
"Why? Because England is in the Euro 2024 final!
"Our entire staff will be cheering on the Three Lions. It's not every day you get to witness history in the making!
"So, let's all join in and support our incredible team. 'It’s coming home!'
"Forza Inghilterra, we believe in you – our fantastic footballers and our amazing coach, Gareth Southgate!
"C'mon England, let's do this!"
Every branch of Tesco Express in England will close at 7.30pm and each One Stop in the country will do the same at 7.45pm.
A Tesco spokesperson added: "Every fan helps.
"It’s time. Time for another massive final.
"That’s why we’re giving our incredible colleagues the time they deserve to enjoy it by closing every Express store across England by 7.30pm on Sunday.
"It’s the least we can do after all their hard work.
"And come kick-off, England deserve every little bit of support."
Sainsbury’s is also closing convenience stores and petrol filling stations across England early.
Are there any other businesses in town that are closing early for the big match? Let us know!
