A supermarket in Swindon has reopened after being closed for refurbishment.

Farmfoods in Cheney Manor shut its doors to customers at the end of June and has since been closed for three weeks.

But when the store closed on Saturday, June 22, staff did not share details of the changes that would be taking place or whether customers could expect new facilities.

The supermarket welcomed customers back on Saturday, July 13 from 7am with a fresh look.

The end of the aisles are now being used to promote a range of household items like vacuums, heaters and heated blankets, as well as branded cleaning products and bulk-buy items, and the checkouts also appear to be brand new.

Ahead of the opening day, a Farmfoods spokesperson said: “The shop will feature our latest in-store design features and offer our extensive range of branded and own-brand products, including frozen food, groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables along with a range of household and other items.”

Farmfoods Limited is a Scottish supermarket chain based in Cumbernauld, Scotland, which has over three hundred shops in the UK.
