Police are continuing to search for a suspected car thief still on the loose. 

Having previously asked the public for help, Wiltshire Police has reissued its appeal to the public to keep an eye out for Stratton St Margaret resident Kirk Ayres. 

The 42-year-old from Swindon is wanted in connection with a number of crimes relating to thefts from vehicles. 

This includes eight counts of vehicle interference, two counts of taking from a motor vehicle and one count of criminal damage.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 101 and quote 54240074222."
