Roundabouts in Swindon have been given an overnight makeover ahead of England's Euro 2024 final.
Two mini-roundabouts in Westlea, West Swindon, have been adorned with the unmistakable red St George's cross, forming a makeshift England flag.
Cllr Fay Howard noticed the new decoration for the junctions and posted it on Twitter.
She said: "Someone's been busy in Westlea, Swindon, overnight. Getting excited about England I imagine."
Similar scenes have taken place elsewhere in the country as Euro fever has steadily gripped the nation, with members of the public similarly 'decorating' roundabouts in places like Bristol and Derbyshire.
This led to Derbyshire County Council urging people not to give other roundabouts a similar makeover as it could distract drivers, while locals slammed this response and said it was 'just a bit of fun'.
The practice of turning roundabouts into St George's flags is not limited to just this Euros though, with reports of several roundabouts being transformed dating back to the 2018 World Cup.
