The A419 was closed by police at Swindon after a two-vehicle crash.
Officers rushed to the busy A-road shortly before 9.20am on Monday, July 15, after two vehicles were involved in a collision.
The incident took place between the White Hart Roundabout and the turnoff for South Marston, and the route was closed to traffic between these two junctions.
Drivers were warned to avoid the area while emergency services worked.
At the time, a spokesperson for the force said: “Please note that the A419 in Swindon is currently closed between the White Hart Roundabout and the Stratton junction due to a road traffic collision between two vehicles.
“Drivers are asked to avoid the area where possible while emergency services attend.
“Please seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area.
“Thank you for your patience.”
Police are yet to confirm if the road has reopened, however traffic cameras and maps indicate that traffic is flowing freely in the area, with no queues.
