Two people are currently in police custody after officers were called to a home in West Swindon.
A witness claimed that the house on Castleton Road in Middleleaze was cordoned off for around a day with a police car parked nearby and officers standing guard.
Wiltshire Police have now revealed the reason for the callout and are appealing for witnesses that could help provide useful information for their investigation.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to a property in Castleton Road on Sunday following reports of a disorder involving a number of people.
"Two men, aged 23 and 24, were arrested earlier today, Tuesday July 16, on suspicion of aggravated burglary and are currently in police custody.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident in Castleton Road, Swindon in the early hours of Monday, July 15.
