The Red Arrows will be soaring through the skies around Swindon and Wiltshire as they prepare for the Royal International Air Tattoo.

The RAF's aerial display team will arrive at RAF Fairford at around 5pm on Wednesday, July 17, after heading south from Stow on the Wold.

Before the air show begins on Friday, the iconic aircraft will make a quick visit to Shrivenham on Thursday for a pre-RIAT display.

Their route will loop through Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire between 10am and 11am then proceed north of Hannington Wick at 11.04am then pause in Shrivenham at 11.05am.

The display will take around 25 minutes.

After it's finished, the Red Arrows will fly towards Lambourn at 11.29am then make a sharp turn to appear East of Wroughton at 11.31am before soaring northwards over Swindon on their way back to RAF Fairford for 11.33am.

Flying distinctive Hawk fast-jets, the team is made up of pilots, engineers and essential support staff with frontline, operational experience.
