A housebuilder has renewed its scheme to support community projects across Swindon.
Redrow South West, which is currently building homes at Badbury Park, has allotted £10,000 to a community fund, with intentions to support as many groups, organisations, and individuals as possible.
No cause is too small for consideration, whether funds are required to help children get creative at Brownies, lifejackets are required for a search and rescue team, or a children's group wishes to go on a camping expedition.
The community fund started last year, when Redrow South West donated £10,000 to winners including Swindon Pickleball.
Sian Smith, sales director at Redrow South West, said: "Our aim is to create and support thriving communities in and around our developments.
"With the success of last year's community fund, we knew we needed to re-launch again to support even more local people.
"We’d like to invite groups and charities to share their stories and tell us exactly what they need, it could be new supplies for an afterschool club or help with a local charity initiative.
"We want to know what would help your community to thrive!
"We’re looking forward to hearing how we can help people across Swindon and the surrounding area."
The fund will open on July 22 and will accept applications until midnight on September 30.
In addition to the community fund, Redrow South West is currently developing thirteen sites across the region, including Badbury Park in Swindon.
Badbury Park is situated on the outskirts of the Coate Water Country Park and within convenient reach of Swindon's town centre.
